Sarah,

I spoke with my mom on her birthday and she really loved my gift and was so surprised to receive a whole book written about the Alexanders. She wanted to know how I was able to get it autographed and I told her what a nice and accomodating person you were to work with!

I will always thank you for your kind help in filling in my brick wall in my Alexander ancestry and helping out a “novice” genealogist! Your book is a wonderful asset to all Alexanders and lays a good groundwork for all genealogists in the proper way to go about ancestral research.

Best Regards,
Caren

Sarah:

The book came & it has been read, parts several times. What lot of history! We have a grandson who teaches history in high school and a granddaughter who is getting her PhD in history , right now at Princeton, they will enjoy it too. I have a article written by a lady saying she thought Gabriel 1725 was too young to be the one in the dispute, this proves her wrong! I had collected info on the Alexanders for a number of years from Somerled to William(the fat boy) and a lot of the Augusta Va family but had never connected them to the Irish-Scots, now I have all the family connected and in my computer and checked with the book. I think with a little more research we can connect my McDaniels (McDonalds) to the ones in your book, I hope! We thank you for all your many hours of help and I try to help others when I can.

You are a Love,

VS
